Article 1Purpose of Processing Personal Information

In managing personal information collected from users of this service, we comply with the responsibilities and obligations stipulated in the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection and the Personal Information Protection Act.

We may collect information that is not directly related to a specific individual and cannot identify an individual, such as information required to use iOS service functions and reward-based advertising services.

Article 2Status of Personal Information Files

We do not store or use separate personal information files or cookies.

However, information used by store services and advertising services may be processed through the SDKs of the relevant services. Such information is not stored by us.

If users have any questions regarding this, they should contact the relevant service provider directly, such as Apple or each advertising media provider.

The personal information collected by us, including the collection items, purposes, and retention periods, is as follows.

Article 4Collection and Processing of Facial Data

(1) Purpose of Collecting and Processing Facial Data

We may temporarily process users’ facial data through the camera to provide the measurement function within the app.

(2) Processing Method and Storage

Facial data collected from the camera during the measurement process, such as camera frames, is temporarily processed in memory for approximately 1/30 of a second. All frames are discarded immediately after the measurement ends.

(3) Storage and Transmission

We do not permanently store or transmit users’ facial data externally in any form.

(4) Protective Measures

We make every effort to ensure that users’ facial data is processed safely in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Article 5Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

For user identification, management, and service provision within this service, we provide your personal information to the following third parties. Such information will be destroyed when the user withdraws from the service.

The provided items, purposes, and retention periods are as follows.

Our application is a standalone application that uses a separate server, and all information will be deleted after being retained for 90 days following membership withdrawal.

Article 8Items of Personal Information Processed

deepcheck requires the following permissions for app use in order to provide the service.

(1) Camera Access Permission

• The app requires camera access permission for user identification and measurement of health information, including cardiovascular indicators, heart rate, stress, stress recovery, and fatigue level.

(2) Use of Camera

• To provide the user’s facial recognition function, biometric feature vectors extracted from facial images may be collected. This data is used only for user authentication and security enhancement purposes. When stored, it is encrypted and is not shared with third parties.
• In addition, health information measured through the camera is used only for health checks and does not provide any medical information.
